Welcome to the first edition of our blog that is co-written by Ms. Coleman and student members of our classroom! We have started learning about angles, using protractors, in Math. It was very fun. We have been participating in special clubs, like Cross Country, Soccer and French Club. French Club is every Wednesday, where we watch French movies and eat our lunches. At Cross Country, we run around the yard and get a Popsicle stick for every lap we do. The Meet is October 4th, next Tuesday. We are very excited about it. The girls and boys both had soccer teams. They went to compete against different schools. The girls competed against St. Luke's and Holy Cross. We got a win, a tie, and a loss. We enjoyed our trip very much. The boys soccer team got two wins and one tie. It was a really great idea for the school to make time for us to have awesome clubs. In Language, we have started learning about Adjectives. Adjectives are words that describe nouns. We read a cool book called "If you were an Adjective" to help us learn. Some of our favorite adjectives are: Sassy, Dazzling, Smart, Bright, Awesome, Cool, and Dark. We practiced using adjectives by going around to our friends and describing them positively. Thanks for reading our blog, we hope you had an awesome week, just like ours. Have a nice day.
